My car cigarette lighter adapter does not work. The fuse is ok. What could be the problem?
I have a 2007 Subaru Impreza. And the other day when I plugged in a tire inflator 12v it worked for a few and then stopped. I even tried three other devices. I checked the fuse and even swapped it. I get the clock and the light around the 12v outlet but nothing when I plug things even. Even a cigarette lighter. Dealer says it would take a couple of hours to look at the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.
Loose wire on the back of the lighter socket
