simple class A transistor Amp help?
i have made a small class A amplifier and i want to connect my small 8 ohm loudspeaker to it but how do i get it to match (impedance) so i get full power transfer?? someone said to change the collector to 8 ohms and that will give me 8 ohm output impedance ( is this correct ) if so and i change the collector resistor to 8 ohm i will o longer get the half supply voltage across it.
any or or advice greatly appreciated

No the advice is not correct.
you probably want to follow the CE stage with a direct coupled emitter follower. Probably a push-pull pair of followers. 8 ohms is a difficult load to drive.
