Can lightning travel into an electronic musical keyboard and shock me?
If I am playing on my digital piano/keyboard during an electrical storm, if lightning strikes the lines, could I get electrocuted if the lightning goes through the keyboard since I would be touching the keys while playing them? Would the instrument explode? Could I get blown back about 10 feet into a wall? Or will the AC adapter just get fried and prevent the lightning from going any further? Is it possible?
Power supply = 12 Volt DC 1.5A
don't worry about it, there are so many fuses and adapters that at least one of them would fry before it got to your keyboard. you're safe.
